Description

This lot contains two bottles of Volnay 2007 red Burgundy from Maison Jessiaume. Domaine Jessiaume was bought in the same year by Sir David Murray, a mining entrepreneur and one of Scotland's wealthiest men. The estate is located in the village of Santenay where it was established in 1850, and the négociant side of the business (i.e. wines made from bought-in fruit) was established in 2008.

Pinot Noirs made from the Volnay appellation are known for their characteristic delicacy and elegance.
