Description

A bottle of The Balvenie 17 Year Old. This release was finished in casks that used to hold peated Islay whisky, adding a smoky character to this Speyside malt.

The Balvenie Malt Master has released 94 casks of The Balvenie Islay Cask 17 Year Old.

The Balvenie distillery was founded in 1889 by whisky pioneer William Grant, and has been in the same family for five generations. Today, it is one of the few family-owned distilleries in Scotland, producing whisky in a traditional style; using local barley where possible, and still maintaining their own malting floor.

This Balvenie 17 Year Old Islay Cask sold at our online auction for £220
