A bottle of Aberlour 25 Year Old, distilled in 1964, bottled in 1989 and presented in a lockable wooden box with key.

This is bottle number 06056 of 10000.

Aberlour distillery was founded in 1879 by James Fleming at the confluence of the rivers Spey and Lour, with St Drostan's Well as its water source. When journalist and distilling historian Alfred Barnard visited the distillery in the 1880s, he described it as 'the perfect modern distillery'. Today, Aberlour is owned by Chivas Brothers, but every bottle still carries James Fleming's original motto, 'Let The Deed Show'.
