A litre bottle of Arak Gran Liquore from Italian producer Bairo. We estimate this was bottled in the 1950s.

Arak is a traditional drink of western Asia and the Mediterranean. It is flavoured with anise and usually served with iced water in a manner similar to ouzo and pastis.
