A 50cl bottle of Kao Liang Chiew Golden Star Kaoliang Liquor from China.

The back label reads: This Chiew is made from Kaoliang produced in north China, together with the yeast of barley and garden peas It is mild in nature and fragrant in flavour when taken in a proper measure. It serves to aid in the recovery from fatigue, promote metabolic functions and increase physical strength.

This was packed by China National Cereals Oils and Foodstuffs, imported and exported by Corp., Tientsin Branch, and bottled at 62% ABV. This was imported to the Italian market.

Kaoliang is a spirit distilled from fermented sorghum, popular in China and Taiwan. It is a type of unflavoured Baijiu.
