Description

A bottle of Château Phélan Ségur 1996 from the Saint Estèphe in Bordeaux, at 90 hectares, one of the largest estates in the commune. The vineyards are planted with 49% each Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with the balance being Cabernet Franc. According to wine author Stephen Brook the 1996 '...has evolved well, and is now charming and stylish.'
