A limited edition bottle of The Balvenie 1973 Vintage Cask, from the golden age in the early 1970s when the distillery is considered to have produced its greatest whiskies. This was bottled to celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Whisky Exchange Whisky Show in 2018.
This is bottle number 1 of 1.
The Balvenie distillery was founded in 1889 by whisky pioneer William Grant, and has been in the same family for five generations. Today, it is one of the few family-owned distilleries in Scotland, producing whisky in a traditional style; using local barley where possible, and still maintaining their own malting floor. Balvenie has a huge following worldwide, and is the fastest growing distillery in terms of collectability and demand.
