A bottle of 2003 Cornas from producers Eric et Joel Durand.
'A brilliant offering from Cornas, along with Hermitage the most favored appellation in this vintage, Durand’s 2003 boasts an amazing color, huge extract, frightful concentration, and a viscous, opulent attack, mid-palate, and finish. This outstanding Cornas should drink well upon release next year, and last for a decade or more.' 91-93/100 Robert Parker, 2004
Cornas AOC is a hilly appellation in the northern Rhone valley, producing red wine from the Syrah grape variety.
