Description

A bottle of Château Belair 1982, a Grand Cru classé wine, from the Saint-Emilion appellation. The estate is planted with 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, and produces around 48,000 bottle a year.

Wine author Stephen Brook describes Belair as 'a wine of the old school', and the 1982 as '...a very fine wine, perfumed and with ample rich fruit and a touch of menthol'.
