Description

A limited edition bottle of Cragganmore from Diageo's Special Releases 2016. This was matured in a combination of refill and rejuvenated American oak hogsheads, and ex-Bodega European oak butts, and bottled at cask strength.

This release, subtitled Fine Lines, is inspired by the distillery's connection with the Victorian railway. Cragganmore was the first distillery to take advantage of the newly built Strathspey line to transport its whisky around the country, with the first 'Whisky Train' leaving the station in 1887 carrying 16000 gallons of whisky.

This is bottle number 0208 of 4932.
