Lot Information

A large bottle of French rhum, presented in a glass bottle with a wicker casing.
The metal collar is embossed with the following words: Perrin Fils - Rognonas - Brevete S. GDG.

There is very little information on the bottle, the tag appears to read: 1944 Rhumerie Maison Fut 16. This suggests that this is an agricole rhum from the French Caribbean that was filled into this bottle in 1944 from cask number 16.

There is no ABV stated. The neck of the bottle is embossed with '15L', but this appears to be approximately 10 litres.

This bottle weighs approximately 14.2kg.

The wax seal is embossed with a Fleur-de-lis.

Please see images for fill level and label condition.
Note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing.
This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
