Description

A bottle of Caroni 1998 Trinidad rum. This was matured for 9 years in the tropics before extra maturation spent in selected casks in Europe, and bottled in 2014 by Rum Nation.

This is from the 2nd batch and is one of 4580 bottles.

Rum Nation was founded in 1999 by Fabio Rossi, chairman of independent whisky bottler Wilson & Morgan. Whilst sampling some whisky casks in Scotland, Fabio came across some old barrels of British Guyana and Jamaican rum which sparked the idea for Rum Nation, a range showcasing the best rums of the Caribbean with an emphasis on regional style.
