A bottle of Caroni 90 Proof Extra Strong Navy Rum. This was bottled at 51% ABV, we estimate in the 1970s.

The label reads: Produce of Trinidad. Caroni(1975) Ltd-Rum Division Trinidad, West Indies. Shipped and bottled for E D & F Man (Victuals) Ltd. London , EC3 and Glasgow.

This bottle is being sold by the beneficiaries of the estate of an ex-employee of Tate & Lyle.
