The sixth edition Port Ellen from Diageo's annual Special Releases. This was distilled in 1978, matured for 27 years, and bottled at cask strength in 2006.

This is bottle number 2917 of 4560.

Port Ellen distillery was established on the Isle of Islay in 1825 and mothballed in 1983.
