Description

A bottle of Ambassador Crystal Dimple Old Scotch Whisky, bottled by Bloch Brothers, Glasgow. We estimate this was bottled in the 1940s.

The Ambassador brand was originally produced by Taylor & Ferguson Ltd., and was a popular blend in the US. Following WWII, Taylor & Ferguson Ltd. was absorbed by Bloch Brothers who continued to market the Ambassador brand in the US. In 1954, Bloch Brothers was acquired by Hiram Walker.
