A bottle of Dewar's Ancestor blended Scotch whisky, sealed with a spring cap. This was bottled for the US market, and distributed by Schenley Import Corporation. We estimate this was bottled in the 1950s.

Ancestor was one of the deluxe blends in Dewar's range, containing a fair proportion of long-aged whisky.
