A 1902 vintage bottle of Bass King's Ale, brewed to celebrate King Edward VII's visit to the Bass brewery in Burton-Upon-Trent, Staffordshire, in that same year. The king started the mashing process, but there was no bottling until 1905, which was still a limited release.
The bottle is sealed with a Betts & Co. patented cap, which only produced this type of capping until the 1960s.
