Description

A case of 12 bottles of Red Tape Fine Old Scotch Whisky, bottled by Baird Taylor Ltd., Glasgow, a firm of whisky merchants established in 1838 which became a subsidiary of DCL in 1935. These are presented in the original cardboard box.

These were bottled for the Spanish market and imported by Pan-Europea, we estimate in the 1970s.

This Red Tape sold at our online auction for £370

Condition

Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note the box is damaged but it will be included in the lot, and wear to the labels and tax strips. These contain a small amount of sediment.

This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
