Description

A bottle of Glenfiddich Special Reserve in a Clans of the Highlands of Scotland presentation tin. This was bottled for the Italian market and imported by Spirit. We estimate this was bottled in the 1980s.

This tin celebrates Clan MacPherson who first prospered by assisting King Robert the Bruce, who rewarded them by giving them the lands around Cluny, where the clan built their famous castle. Later, following his defeat at the Battle of Culloden, the MacPhersons helped Bonnie Prince Charlie escape.

This Glenfiddich Special Reserve sold at our online auction for £50
