A bottle of 1983 Trouillard Brut Cuvée du Fondateur, produced in honour of the founder of the house, Lucien Trouillard. This is a 100% Chardonnay 'Blanc de Blancs' blend with around 4 years spent on lees prior to disgorgement.

Condition

Please see images for fill level and label condition. As this is a mature Champagne it is likely that it has lost its bubbles naturally over time. It is also natural for the liquid to have oxidised and become darker. This lot is offered for historical interest rather than for human consumption.

This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
