Description

This lot contains two bottles of Non Vintage Champagne from George Goulet: Carte Blanche and Cuvée Reservée. The Cuvée Reservée carries a label indicating it was imported into Italy by Giovinetti Intercontinental Brands, and is 78cl/12% ABV. The Carte Blanche has no ABV or size listed. We estimate these were bottled in the 1960s to 1970s.

Condition

As these are mature Champagnes it is likely that they have lost their bubbles naturally over time. It is also natural for the liquid to have oxidised and become darker. This lot is offered for historical interest rather than for human consumption.

This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
