Description

A bottle of Sandeman 1963 Vintage Port, bottled in 1965.

The label carries a royal warrant by appointment to Her Majesty the Queen.

'Nice reddish bricky hue with good fruit still on the nose – nuances of sweet red plum and cherry laced with a good twist of black pepper which continue their dance on a lively, incense lifted palate. Firm mineral tannins bring length and precision to the finish as does its balanced, persistent acidity. Very drinkable. Very good.' Sarah Ahmed MW, 2014
