Description

A bottle of 1983 Belle Epoque Champagne. Belle Epoque is the Perrier-Jouët's top cuvée and is presented in a hand-painted 'flower' bottle. The 1983 is a blend of 45% Pinot Noir, 5% Pinot Meunier and 50% Chardonnay.

As this is a mature Champagne it is likely that it has lost its bubbles naturally over time. It is also natural for the liquid to have oxidised and become darker.

This lot is offered for historical interest rather than for human consumption.

This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
