A bottle of Veuve Clicquot Ponsardin 1980 vintage Champagne, a 67% Pinot Noir and 33% Chardonnay blend. This was released in 1986 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Texan independence.

As this is a mature Champagne it is likely that it has lost its bubbles naturally over time. It is also natural for the liquid to have oxidised and become darker.

This lot is offered for historical interest rather than for human consumption.
