Description

A bottle of Port Ellen 25 Year Old single malt Scotch whisky. This was distilled in 1982 and bottled by The Dormant Distillery Company.

This is bottle number 175 of 255; it was bottled from cask number 2556.

Port Ellen was established as a malt mill in 1825, and later developed into a distillery by John Ramsay. The distillery closed in 1983, though the maltings continue to supply many of Islay's distilleries.
