Description

A bottle of Sauza Extra, an aged Tequila produced and bottled in Jalisco, Mexico. This was bottled for R & C Vintners, we estimate in the late 1960s to 1970s.

Sauza Tequila was founded in 1873 by Don Cenobio Sauza. Known as the ‘father of Tequila’, he was the first to give the name to the spirit distilled from blue agave. In 1988, the company was purchased by the Spanish producer Pedro Domecq, and today it is owned by Beam Suntory.
