A bottle of Piper Heidsieck Florens Louis 1966 vintage Champagne, a blend of 20% Pinot Noir and 80% Chardonnay. This was bottled for the Italian market.

This is bottle number 1135.

As this is a mature Champagne it is likely that it has lost its bubbles naturally over time. It is also natural for the liquid to have oxidised and become darker.
