This lot contains two bottles of blended Scotch whisky, which we estimate were bottled in the 1960s to 1970s:

1 x Crown Vat Very Fine Old Scotch Whisky, blended by Marshal Taplow Limited, no size stated, 40% ABV

1 x Taplows Very Fine Old Scotch Whisky, blended by Taplows Limited, no size stated, 40% ABV

This Taplows Very Fine & Crown Vat Very Fine sold at our online auction for £2.50

Condition

Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note wear to the labels. The capsule on the Crown Vat bottle is damaged, and the top of the cork is exposed.

Note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing.

This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
