A large bottle of Bergia Cedrata, a sugar syrup from Italy. We estimate this was bottled in the 1940s to 1960s.
The label reads (translated from Italian): Pure sugar syrup, with Cedar/Citron extract, citric acid, natural flavours for the refinement of taste, coloured with E102 (Tartrazine) and E132 (Indigo carmine)
Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note wear to the labels.
This lot is offered for historical interest rather than for human consumption.
This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
