Description

A case of 12 bottles of Black & White blended Scotch whisky, presented in the original wooden crate. Each bottle is wrapped in paper. These were bottled for the US market and imported by The Fleischmann Distilling Corporation. We estimate these were bottled in the early 1950s.

The rotation number '51' is printed on the top right corner of the case.

The labels carry royal warrants by appointment to HM The King.

This Black & White Spring Cap sold at our online auction for £2,400

Condition

Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note wear to the labels and damage to all of the paper wrappings. The box is worn, and includes the original dividers. The top panels have been removed, but will be included in the lot.

Note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing.

This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
