Description

A bottle of Old Comber 30 Year Old Pure Pot Still Irish whiskey. We estimate this was bottled in the early 1980s.

Comber distillery was founded in Northern Ireland in 1825 as a brewery, before John Miller invested £8000 to convert it to a whiskey distillery. The distillery changed hands in the 1950s, and the final distillation was in February 1953. In the early 1980s, local wine merchants and distillers’ agents James E McCabe sourced remaining stocks of Comber whiskey from Ireland's bonded warehouses, and released Old Comber 30 Year Old.
