Description

A bottle of 1988 vintage Perrier-Jouët Brut Champagne, a blend of 40% pinot noir, 33% pinot meunier and 27% chardonnay.

'It took (me) a few years to discover how good the normal vintage wine from Perrier-Jouët is. Nowadays I never miss a new vintage, as the wine is always well made and full of chardonnay elegance.' Richard Juhlin

Mature Champagne is likely to lose its bubbles naturally over time. It is also natural for the liquid to have oxidised and become darker.
