A bottle of Taylor New York State Champagne, a sparkling wine produced and bottled by The Taylor Wine Co., Inc., Hammondsport, New York. We estimate this was bottled in the 1970s.

Note that this is traditional method sparkling wine made in the USA, and not from the Champagne region in France.

As this is an older sparkling wine, it is likely that it has lost its bubbles naturally over time. It is also natural for the liquid to have oxidised and become darker. This lot is offered for historical interest rather than for human consumption.

This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
