A bottle of 1988 vintage Perrier-Jouët Brut Champagne, a blend of 40% pinot noir, 33% pinot meunier and 27% chardonnay.

Mature Champagne is likely to lose its bubbles naturally over time. It is also natural for the liquid to have oxidised and become darker.
