A bottle of G H Mumm 1949 Cordon Rouge Champagne.

The bottling code is 20020557.
'A voluptuous wine with a wonderful nose of vanilla and butterscotch. Good to look at and easy to drink.' Richard Juhlin, tasted in 1997.
There is no size or ABV stated on the label.
Please see images for label condition. Note wear to the label. This appears to have a good fill level.
As this is a mature Champagne it is likely that it has lost its bubbles naturally over time. It is also natural for the liquid to have oxidised and become darker.
Note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing.
This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
