Description

A bottle of 1918 Château d'Yquem.

After a very wet spring, warm dry weather set in and encouraged vine growth. The 71mm of rain in the middle of September was all the impetus it took for botrytis to spread.

Note that there is no size or ABV stated on the label. This bottle comes from a family cellar in Nottingham where it has been held for as long as the family can remember.
