Description

A bottle of Knockando that was distilled in 1974 and bottled in 1987.

This bottle was for the Greek market.

The label carries a royal warrant by appoinment to Her Majesty The Queen Wine Merchants Justerini & Brooks Ltd. 61 St James's Street, London SW1.

The back of the box reads:

KNOCKANDO, from the Gaelic CNOC-AN-DHU, the little black hillock, has been producing finest Speyside Malts since the turn of the century.

The colour, which is completely natural, is derived from oak wood and each butt or hogshead has its own individual characteristics. Thus the depth of colour in successive bottlings may vary, but the distinctive mellow richness remains constant - the unmistakeable signature of KNOCKANDO.

Innes Shaw.

Distillery Manager.
