Description

An old presentation bottle of The Balvenie 12 Year Old Doublewood.

We estimate this was bottled in the 2000s.

The back label reads:

'Two casks of different character produce a deeper, more complex flavour and greater character than maturation in only one wood.

'During maturation, The Balvenie Doublewood is transferred from a traditional whisky oak cask to an original sherry oak cask, thereby acquiring character from each cask.

'The result is a rich, mellow flavour of great depth and unusual complexity.'
