Description

A bottle of La Marquetterie Blanc de Blancs, a still white wine from Taittinger made from Chardonnay grapes.

The designation 'Vin Nature de la Champagne', was replaced by the appellation 'Coteaux Champenois' in 1974 which means this was bottled prior to that year.

As this is a mature wine it is natural for the liquid to have oxidised and become darker. This lot is offered for historical interest rather than for human consumption.

This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
