Description

A very old bottle of Bisquit Dubouché & Co. Cognac, presented in a hand-blown bottle sealed with a cork. There is no label, the capsule is embossed with the words 'Bisquit Dubouché Cognac' and the company's coat of arms. We estimate this was bottled between 1860 and 1880 and so it is likely to contain pre-phylloxera Cognac.

Condition

Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note damage to the wax shoulder stamp and wear to the capsule.

This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
