Description

A bottle of 11 Year Old Very Rare Scotch Whisky from blender and bottler Hill Thomson & Co. We estimate this was bottled in the early 1930s.

This whisky was bottled specially for White Star Line, a prominent British shipping company founded in 1845. It is best known for its Olympic Class Ocean Liners, the biggest and most luxurious ships of the day, which included the RMS Olympic, as well as the ill-fated RMS Titanic and HMHS Britannic. The company merged with its rival Cunard in 1934 and became Cunard-White Star.
