A bottle of Rhum de Sa Majesté Couronne Impériale from French bottler Simon Frères. We estimate this was bottled in the 1950s.
Napoléon would carry a gourd of rum on all his campaigns. This rum comes from the properties of Empress Joséphine (Martinique) and is said to be made to the same formula which had been preserved by one of Napoléon's familiars.
