Description

A bottle of Long John blended Scotch whisky. We estimate this was bottled in the late 1940s to 1950s.

There is no size or ABV stated on the label.

This bottle comes from a case of six that was stored in hay in an attic since the original purchase. The owner is believed to have hidden them from his disapproving wife. The forgotten bottles were rediscovered when the house was sold.

This Long John sold at our online auction for £575
