Description

A bottle of Gilbey's London Dry Gin, bottled at 47.5% ABV. We estimate this was bottled in the 1980s.

The brand was founded in 1857 by brothers Walter and Albert Gilbey in the basement of a retail shop on Oxford Street. The firm's base was in Chalk Farm and once used the building that is now The Roundhouse theatre as their bonded warehouse.
