Description

A bottle of Lemorton 1970 Vieux Calvados du Domfrontais. This was distilled over wood fires, matured in oak casks, and bottled in April 2005.

Calvados Domfrontais is produced from pears as well as cider apples, this is a centuries old tradition in the Domfront region and sets it apart from its neighbours. Over the years, Domfrontais producers have strived to have this regional characteristic recognised and regulated by the French authorities.
