A bottle of The Macallan 60 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky. This is the Fourth of The Lalique Six Pillars Collection from the distillery released in 2011.
This decanter is inspired by the appearance of Macallan's 'curiously small stills' that are key to the Macallan's whisky-making process. Lalique's master craftsmen designed a decanter.
This is bottle number 147 of 400.
This version is a special edition packaged in a fabulous lacquered box constructed by Royal furniture-maker Viscount Linley, the Queen's nephew. Created using casks filled on the 9th & 10th November 1950, this Macallan is noticeably peatier than today's Macallan.
