Metaxa is a unique spirit, consisting of a blend of grape distillates (brandy), sweet Muscat wine, and botanicals, which are aged in large Limousin oak casks for a warm, aromatic, and approachable style Metaxa Angels’ Treasure 2018. Some of the oldest blends of House of Metaxa have been used for this expression. Bottled at 41% ABV only the oldest blends, with the most impact from the House of Metaxa dry cellars, have been used. 2018 was the last year that this expression appeared in this form and this specific bottling, and it cannot be found anymore.

Deep amber color with pronounced notes of dried fruit (prune, fig), caramel, spice (nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger), dried flowers, oak, and honey. The texture is dense and persistent, with a very long finish
