Description

A bottle of 2015 Musigny Grand Cru from Jacques-Fréderic Mugnier, owners of 1.13 hectares in the heart of the Grand Cru, the second-largest holding behind Domaine Vogüé.

'Today, as the wine is released onto the market, my enthusiasm is undiminished, as the wine is showing superbly, unfurling in the glass with a deep bouquet of cherries, raspberries, rose petals, exotic spices, orange rind and hints of smoked duck and forest floor. Full-bodied, deep and layered, it's seamless and complete, with terrific concentration, powdery tannins and lively animating acids that come together in an effortless ensemble. 100 points' Wine Advocate
