A bottle of Château Rausan-Ségla 1957 from Bordeaux's Margaux appellation, a 'second growth' in the 1855 classification. The 51 hectare estate had an early admirer in Thomas Jefferson, who bought ten cases in 1790. The vineyards are planted with 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 41% Merlot, 1% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot.
