Description

A bottle of Egon Müller's 2007 Spätlese from the Scharzhofberg vineyard in the Mosel, which is widely considered to be responsible for some of the finest Rieslings in Germany.

Müller has just under 8 hectares of vines on the Scharzhofberg hillside, which are hand-harvested and pressed without any skin contact before fermentation in 1000 litre oak casks in his deep cellars. The wines are bottled six months later.
